Finished medical schooling from Seth GS Medical college and KEM hospital, one of the oldest and prestigious medical schools in the country followed by Internship at the same place. Trained at AIIMS New Delhi ( Apex centre for eye disease in India).
Over a period of 3 years he underwent training and performed independent surgeries like topical cataract, pterygium excision, chalazion removal, ocular trauma and corneal tear repair. On the academic front, he has numerous publications in international journals. He has presented several papers and posters at national and international platforms. Vitreoretina and uvea fellowship from world renowned Sankara Nethralaya (Chennai) where training was given by the best surgeons of the world in managing simple to complex retinal disorders. Special interest include Diabetic retinopathy, age related macular degeneration, Genetic eye diseases like retinitis pigmentosa, Retinal detachment, Macular surgeries, ocular trauma, retinopathy of prematurity.

Trained at Regional Insitute pf Ophthalmology in Kolkata.
She underwent training and performed independent surgeries like topical cataract, pterygium excision, chalazion removal, ocular trauma and corneal tear repair. Clinical research and Surgical Vitreoretina fellowship from world renowned Sankara Nethralaya (Chennai).
